Camper Eligibility: Our Summer Camp welcomes children entering 1st through 6th grades for the 2025 camp season (June – August). Campers must be at least 6 years old at the start of camp and should remain within this age range throughout the season. Additionally, campers are expected to independently manage personal care tasks, including:
• Using the restroom
• Changing clothes
• Eating lunch
• Communicating needs to staff
Campers should also be able to understand and follow directions from our counselors. If your child requires any accommodations, please get in touch with the Parks & Recreation Department in advance so we can best support their experience.
Residency Requirement: The resident fee is exclusively available to Stow residents. To qualify, at least one parent (excluding grandparents unless they are the child's legal guardian) must reside in Stow. Providing a false Stow address to enroll at the resident rate will result in unenrollment without a refund.
Camp Activities: Silver Springs Day Camp offers a variety of engaging activities, including:
• Swimming
• Hiking
• Crafts
• Sports
• Field trips
• And much more!
Daily Schedule:
• Drop-off: By 9:00 AM at Heritage Barn (the Day Camp site)
• Pick-up: At 4:00 PM at Heritage Barn
Camp Fees Per Week:
• Registration Fee: $225.00 per child (Stow Residents Only)
Please note that camp fees do not include extended care.
Extended Care: For families needing additional supervision, we offer Extended Care at Heritage Barn:
• AM: 7:05 AM – 9:00 AM
• PM: 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM
This supervised care is available for an additional fee of $40.00 per week. (Includes both AM and PM Care)
Registration & Payment:
• Method: Online only, with payment via credit card (additional fees apply: 2.9% plus $0.30 transaction fee)
• Timing: Payment is required at the time of registration
• Policy: Registrations are for full weeks only; no prorated fees. Please note that there are no refunds or exceptions.
• Availability: Spaces are limited and fill quickly; campers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
All required forms must be completed online during registration. Be prepared to have this information on hand. If additional forms are needed, they must be completed before the first day of camp.
Open House: Join us on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Heritage Barn in Silver Springs Park (5238 Young Road) for an Open House. Registration is required.
