EACH CHILD MUST BE REGISTERED
Grab your fishing poles and join us for a morning of outdoor fun at our Annual Children’s Fishing Derby—Hooked on Fun! Kids' Fishing Derby!
Kids, parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to come make memories at beautiful Heritage Lake. We’ll provide the bait and tackle—you just bring your favorite fishing rod and your best “catch of the day” smile! The lake will be freshly stocked with plenty of trout and bluegill, so everyone has a great chance to reel in some fun.
This event is open to all children ages 1 to 9. Each child must be registered in advance, and only children are permitted to fish (one rod per child)
Presented by Stow Parks & Recreation in partnership with the Summit Sportsman Association and with support from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
When: Saturday, May 2, 2026
Where: Heritage Lake, Silver Springs Park, 5238 Young Road, Stow
TIme: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
(Check in begins at 8:00 and start fishing at 9:00 am)
